Under the direct supervision of the Vice President, the Unit on Relations with ECOWAS Institutions should develop and implement strategies aimed at establishing relations the other institutions of ECOWAS. It acts as a liaison, intermediary and focal point between the Commission and the other institutions of ECOWAS.  It is in charge of promoting and encouraging the development of a fruitful cooperation with the other institutions of ECOWAS and to discharge any other duties entrusted to it by the Vice President, Commissioners or Directors.
