The Department of Peace Keeping and Regional
Security (DPKRS) is one of the departments under the Office
of the Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and
Security. This department was established in accordance with
Article 16 of the Protocol Relating to the Mechanism for
Conflict Prevention, Management, Resolution Peacekeeping and
Security. The Director of the Department of Peace Keeping
and Regional Security assists the C – PAPS in all matters
relating to Peace and Security within the sub region. |
